Ecore Names New Acoustic Engineer, Justin Reidling

Ecore is proud to announce the hiring of Justin Reidling as the company's new acoustic engineer. Reidling comes to Ecore with seven years of experience as a product engineer and acoustical consultant. As a consultant, he worked with developers, architects, owners, and contractors during the building design and construction process for projects including commercial, residential, education, performing arts, and healthcare.
In his new position, Reidling will provide support to Ecore’s customers and internal sales personnel through the Sales & Marketing, Technical Services, and Product Management departments. His background will play an integral role in assisting Ecore’s customers, and his acoustic expertise and experience will be useful in creating, modifying, and certifying new and existing Ecore products.

“Justin brings tremendous architectural and environmental acoustic knowledge to the Ecore team and will be a key asset in our continued growth,” said Bo Barber, executive vice president of sales and marketing at Ecore. “The architecture and engineering industry is emphasizing the need for improved acoustical performance within the occupant experience. With the addition of Justin, Ecore will remain at the forefront of building acoustics research and product development.”

Before joining the Ecore team, Reidling served as a senior acoustical consultant at Salter Inc. in San Jose, Calif., for five years. Prior to his work at Salter, he worked as a product engineer at Takata for two years developing automotive safety systems for customer applications.

Reidling earned his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering with a minor in acoustics from Kettering University in Flint, Mich. He resides in York, Pennsylvania with his wife and two daughters.
